Orange and Black Gecko design Darth Maul plate
Description: As our kids would say, THIS PIECE IS COOL! It immediately reminded our eight-year old son of Darth Maul, the bad guy with the two-sided lightsaber from the first (in story terms) Star Wars movie. This very large (13.5 inches in diameter) orange and black platter is a beautiful example of what these indigenous people can do with just a bit of clay, some pine smoke (yes, it's only pine smoke - for the curing) their hands, and their imagination. As you may have noticed, turtles, geckos, snakes and crocodiles are used in many lencan designs. This is a fabulous art piece.
